The iO app is free to use and available to all smartphone users worldwide. iO is an app that allows you to chat with friends, make video calls and send files. And thanks to LiveChat and VideoChat, chatting is now even more fun.

You save on roaming costs when travelling abroad, as you can make unlimited calls to Switzerland free of charge. Your calls and chats are encrypted, and all of your data is stored securely on Swisscom servers in Switzerland.

Crystal clear voice connection, and always available when needed.
Very helpful when traveling abroad and in areas with poor mobile network coverage
came a long way and is robust, fun to use with a solid webclient. everything a chat app needs to be. bonus: plus free VoIP to Swiss phones from around the world. Nice

Free app. Very decent working capabilities. The rest is all about taste. Its efficient, does just what it says on the box. Glad I downloaded this.

Some bad moments

It was very good and deserves 5 stars, but recently when I want to contact my family through this app they could not hear me and I could not hear them either. Moreover, Swisscom io doesnt have customers support service (They dont have email, chat or telephone number to contact them). I hope they fix it ASAP.
Cant get past the first screen. App needs to be installed on another device? A phone number needs to be registered already, before I can even use the app? Makes no sense.
Nicht für Swisscom Easy. Kostet 6.99 pro Monat, und dann noch Tina Turner.
What does this offer that I dont already get from: - the cross-platform Skype and Whats App? - iOS platform centric FaceTime and iMessage? I dont see where this app offers features or benefits that will make it a universally and internationally demanded alternative to the already used apps listed above. So, Swisscom, why should I bother? Please state a convincing use case. Thanks.
Great app. Love especially the ability to call every phone number I want.
I really like it :) to fast and comfortable for connecting people. Hope in the future there will be some funny smiles :)
